I’m not sure how this book ended on my iPad. I totally didn’t expect to cry, but I did. Have you ever felt so immersed in a story you actually thought you’re one of the characters?

Some of the dialogue between Julien and Chloe had me laughing out loud. Read, highlight, and take notes, across web, tablet, and phone. As the hero and heroine traipse through the quaint towns and countryside, they start to ‘like’ one another, which makes Chloe inadvertently question her relationship with her fiance, which doesn’t seem to be so solid in the first place. Chloe is getting married in a week, but her boss from hell tells her she needs to go to Paris on a business trip to back her up because she’s sick.

It was total crap. The author does a great job at taking us to a few gorgeous French towns while still keeping the suspense high and the laughs rolling. There is love in the air. A fabulously fun read! Thankfully no graphic details though.

The story had my attention,I liked what I read,but had a small part of me who missed it to be completely drawn into the story,and it has changed Curiosity lead me to ” Kissed in Paris”,accidentally reading the content of the book ” Sleeping with Paris ” on goodreads,my eye caught the part where are also the other books from the author,at the moment this book just found its way to me and I began to read,interesting start of the story,funny moments,and began my journey into this wonderful story: As Chloe follows this mysterious and – although she doesn’t want to admit it – sexy French man on a wild chase through the sun-kissed countryside of France, she discovers a magical world she never knew existed.


Overall, this is a great chick flick book with a ton of adventure and humor added in.

My library Help Advanced Book Search. He agrees to help her get her things back and back to the states. Does this sound like a promising premise for a well-written novel?

I cheered for her, I wanted her to have her HEA because she really deserved it. Highly recommended for the natural flow in the story, unconventional and gripping writing style of the author, flawless execution of original plot, unforgettable characters, exotic French scenery and laugh-out-loud crazy adventure.

And seriously, if your shoes hurt that bad, take them off and go barefoot – it can’t be any worse that having raw, swollen, blistered feet. Will they arrest her? That is until she wakes up in her hotel room with nothing but a skimpy red dress, her underwear, a toothbrush and black high heels. I have given it 4 stars not because it is written so fantastically I can’t rave enough about it.

Will she make it to her own wedding? This is a must-read for anyone who loves a good, fun romantic comedy, and especially for anyone who loves France. Newer Post Older Post Home.

Chloe is getting married in less than a week, so the stakes are high, which really kept me turning the sobanett I admire her ability to make me see, Paris and the French countryside in such clarity. kizsed Chloe is such a lovable character. Chloe Turner is event planer, she is very organized person and everything in her life must be perfect she even organized everything in her close family, her sisters and her father. Once again she made me fall in love with her characters and writing, not to mention the french hottie all of you will love.

Book review: Kissed in Paris by Juliette Sobanet

This is the story of Chloe, an American woman sent sobanst Paris for her job, who while there, ends up getting robbed. I got this eBook when it was available as a free download on Amazon, I had already read and loved Sleeping with Paris, so I jumped at the chance to read this. It was written as a series of emails between Chloe, her sisters and her boss.

However, with all that being said, the author makes my personal qualms take a side seat throughout the book. I have never been to France but it was nice to imagine it from this book. Let’s also throw in plenty of cheap stereotypes like fat, unhealthy Americans who only eat at McDonald’s and thin, sexy French people who only eat stuff raised on their own farm.

As the overly organized go-to gal for her drama-queen younger sisters, her anxiety-ridden father, and her needy clients, Chloe is normally prepared for every disaster that comes her way.

Oh Wow this was a really fun adventerous read. To make matters worse, she’s supposed to be getting married within a week’s time, but due to circumstances surrounding the robbery, she can’t tell her fiance the whole story. But all does NOT go to plan. Kissed in Paris Author: Why is she having these feelings for Julien when she is engaged to Paul?

Kissed in Paris is a fabulous read, and I think you’ll enjoy it as much as I did! Put bluntly this book was fun to read.
