I really didn’t like that he view spoiler [ attacked Aryal twice, and not because she attacked him first or he was fighting for his life, but because he was mad.
In fact when I found out, I rubbed my hands together and thought, oh, yeah, this’ll be good, bring it on! She suspected him of illegal activity, he thought she was a bitch, and they both kept trying to kill each other. Her not really hidden opinion of Pia that was slowly changing.
Maybe because she knows that Quentin hinds secrets and maybe because she suspects that he is a bad guy. But I’m still waiting for Graydon’s book. Race absolutely agree there was many scenes in this book kinkee were memorable and stood out for me, but since E picked out my favourite one — I will have to go for my second favourite scene which elrer the big confrontation and sparring scene with Quentin and Aryal working out their differences.
However, I sure waffled on it a bit before I got there. I know TH can do it. I love how everyone came out at the end.
But seriously, Quentin was so amazing. In every other book the entire overarching story has been furthered. This book is expertly crafted and satisfying in delivery. Seems a little bit lazy at first, but I think she pay homage to Tolkien. Without giving too much away, Aryal and Quentin have been through literal hell together, and Aryal is about to find out if one very important aspect of her life is changed forever.

All that and this is all that happens? So why is it that this criminal is never out of her mind? Things Eldeer loved most: Watching Aryal and Quentin move from deadly enemies to so much more was wonderful.
You can I write paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and other stuff. I just hope there are more books coming in this series as I would be devastated if I found there weren’t.
I was a little worried about the ‘kink’ coming into this because BDSM is not my thing at all, but those elements were really on the outskirts of the story and could have easily been left out.
Or they won’t be Sentinels any longer. Their relationship totally worked for me. And I don’t believe that the next time they have a disagreement they won’t start whaling on each other again.

kinmed Harrison manage to write Aryal in a believable way to dampen her dislike to Pia, and start to accept Dragos’s mate. Spoilers I was so excited for this, I thought edler would be brilliant because the heroine Aryal was a favourite of mine from earlier books. I didn’t feel like this one did that. Who knows, the trip that start with hate, anger, and violence, turn to be a life turning event for both Quentin and Aryal. But need to take a genre break at the moment.
It’s when she spies him playing bondage games with a woman that she starts to think of him in other terms. September New Releases. This book allows us to get to know her. I also had similar feelings about the BDSM aspects but I do think Thea Harrison painted it perfectly for them because it was so true to their characters, and I liked how the themes of control and letting go played out in the book.
